Dravosburg Truck and Auto, also known as Dravosburg Truck stop, has been servicing Dravosburg and the surrounding areas since opening in 1972. The shop is known for their great customer service and quality and timely repairs on standard automotive, light and medium duty vehicles, all the way up to Heavy Trucks. Their “walk-in” service has been something that sets them apart from other shops in the area. All of the shop’s mechanics are fully licensed for PA State Inspections and Emissions testing.
The shop was originally owned and founded by Al’s father, Frank DeRosa and around the time of the founding also served food and sold fuel, aside from providing vehicle and truck services. It provided the fuel and food services until sometime in the 80’s. At that time, the shop only operated with a main 3 bay garage for the automotive and Heavy trucks along with an upper garage that was used for servicing larger trailers. Once Frank passed in 2013, his son Al took over as Owner and has been running the shop with his wife Amy ever since.
At current, Dravosburg Truck and Auto staffs 9 full-time mechanics (including Al) and has steadily expanded. In 2014, a dedicated 2 bay automotive garage was added next to the main Heavy truck shop and this past year they acquired a 2 bay garage behind the main building that can fit multiple cars and is also used for light/medium duty truck maintenance. They have served over 1,000 satisfied customers and have many large trucking accounts.
